about

Twenty-eight different musicians use dozens of instruments in recording studios in New York City and Oakland, CA, a live recording from a concert in Osaka, Japan and even a late night clandestine recording of the Mills College pipe organ compile one of Anderson’s most insane and experimental albums. It’s just all over the map, free improv sessions edited into prog-rock riffs with a punk rock attitude. Dada noise, tape loops, a dog barking, a child screaming, ambient strata, heavy reverb guitar on the left channel, but on the right channel a completely dry drum kit, saxophone, trumpet, oud, electronics, theremin, the giant guitar harp, all mixed up, cut up and used in unconventional ways. Anything is possible, and unpredictable, get it?
