Red Horse is the second release from The Infusion, it was recorded after their performance at Canada's Victoriaville festival in 2003. The music progresses from Camel Zekri's beautiful Algerian style guitar playing to hauntingly exotic soundscapes that then builds using rhythmic complexities to create a powerful mesmerizing CD.

“The Infusion are an interesting trio organized by French bassist Olivier Paquotte, including American guitarist Ron Anderson (formerly of The Molecules) and North African guitarist and electronicist Camel Zekri. The pieces are improvisations, though they are generally grounded in the free rock territory of bands like Last Exit combined with liberal utilization of found sounds and abstract electronics… the group appears to owe a conceptual debt to Fred Frith. Several of the tracks achieve the same kind of balance between unfettered noise explorations and off-kilter but highly structured song forms. Some of the guitar playing, in particular, has a lot of Frith's clean, precise tone, while Paquotte's bass tends to dwell in depths of a near Laswell-ian magnitude.” - Brian Olewnick - All Music
